Greetings:
Parents, students, teachers, and community leaders, it is a pleasure and privilege to be given the task of being the guidance counselor. I am a graduate of Gadsden County Public School System, class of 1977. I attended Florida A & M University where I received a B.S. in Elementary Education and M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling. I earned an Educational Specialist Degree in Leadership in Educational Administration from Capella University where I am presently working toward a doctoral degree in that area.

I have been employed in the Gadsden County School System for 29 years working in several capacities. For the past fourteen years I have been employed as a school guidance counselor. My role as a school counselor is to be the student's advocate, provinding each student with opportinities to acquire academic, civic, and social skills, becoming productive citizens, respecting self and others, and graduating from high school. I addition to working with students, I am part of the educational team.
